Anti Ragging Cell
​Ragging is a menace plaguing higher education institutions. Civil society and academic authorities stood aghast at this pernicious scourge for some time. The University grants Commission has taken stock of the situation and made stringent regulations to deracinate this evil practice, and to punish its perpetrators, should instances of ragging occur. A major stipulation of the UGC is the establishment an Anti-Ragging Cell in every higher education institution.
The main objective of the anti-ragging cell is to provide a safe and secure environment for all the students, and to ensure that there is no physical, emotional, or mental harm inflicted on anyone by means of ragging. The cell works closely with the management, staff, and students to create awareness about the harmful effects of ragging and to promote a healthy and positive atmosphere on campus. It also investigates any complaints related to ragging and takes strict action against the perpetrators.

Anti Ragging Committee
In conformism with the hon’ble Supreme Court judgments and directions, UGC guidelines on curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, and following the instructions of the affiliating university Bidar University, Bidar Success Degree College, Basavakalyan has formed an Anti-Ragging Committee which will function as the supervisory and advisory committee in preserving culture of ragging free environment in the college.

Anti Ragging Squad
Ragging is a form of abuse on a fresher or any other student, to check the menace of ragging, Success Degree College, Basavakalyan has constituted Anti – Ragging Squad.
The main objectives of the squad are as follows.

To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.

To keep a continuous watch & vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence & recurrence.

To promptly & stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to our notice.

To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerate & any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed & unpunished.
